The handcrafted pendant is made from Tibetan silver, also known as German Silver. Tibetan Silver is white metal made from lead-free copper and tin alloy, with a small percentage of pure silver.  Some pendants are embellished with gemstones. The dust particles are collected when cutting stones to make jewelry so it is used with resin to make this Om. In this case the turquoise is the dust  particles.
